Silicone Cable Manufacturer in India

Miracle Cables is a silicone cable manufacturer in India, making specialty wires and cables since 1997. Our head office is in Kanjurmarg West, Mumbai, and our production facilities are in Maharashtra.

We manufacture 6 silicone cable constructions. The range covers SiF single cores, SiF/GL single cores with a glass fibre braid, SiHF control cables, SiHF-C-Si braided multi-cores, SiHF-GLP multi-cores and single core V cables rated 1.1 kV, 3.3 kV and 6.6 kV.

Our Products

Silicone Cables We Manufacture

Our 6 silicone cable types split into single cores, multi-cores and higher-voltage single cores. Each is described below.

SiF Silicone Single Core Cable

SiF is our standard silicone single core. It’s made from fine tinned copper strands with silicone rubber insulation. Metallurgical plants, steel works and coking plants specify it for panel and equipment wiring near heat sources.

SiF/GL Silicone Single Core With Glass Fibre Braid

This single core adds a glass fibre braid with lacquer finish over the silicone insulation. The braid gives the core extra mechanical protection in furnaces and hot machinery.

SiHF Silicone Control Cable

The SiHF silicone control cable is a multi-core cable with silicone insulation and a silicone sheath. Control circuits in high-heat zones run on it.

SiHF-C-Si Silicone Multi-Core Braided Cable

SiHF-C-Si is a 180°C silicone multi-core cable with a tinned copper braid screen. The braid protects signals and impulses from electromagnetic interference. Its silicone jacket adds heat, chemical, oil and acid resistance.

This cable is low-smoke and halogen-free, which makes it well suited to power stations. Steel producers and the aviation industry use it. So do shipyards, cement works, glass plants and ceramic factories, especially where temperatures swing between hot and cold.

SiHF-GLP Silicone Multi Core Cable

The SiHF-GLP cable is our silicone multi core option for general high-temperature wiring. Share your core count and size, and we’ll send its datasheet.

Single Core V Cables

Single core V cables carry silicone insulation at higher voltages. We manufacture them in 1.1 kV, 3.3 kV and 6.6 kV ratings.

Silicone Cable Specification

The silicone cable specification table lists construction details and test standards, with the cable type each value applies to shown in brackets. Full values sit in each product datasheet.

Silicone Cable Performance in Heat, Oil and Fire

Silicone rubber insulation gives these cables 4 working advantages over PVC in hot plants.

  1. Flexibility under thermal cycling. Silicone keeps its elasticity where PVC insulation becomes brittle.
  2. The insulation withstands vegetable and animal fats, many types of oil and diluted acids. Alcohol and alkaline solutions cause no decomposition.
  3. Oxygen and ozone resistance protects cables in outdoor and weather-exposed runs.
  4. In a fire, the burnt silicone leaves a silicon dioxide layer on the conductor. That layer keeps the circuit short-circuit-proof.

Installation Guidance for Silicone Cables

Lay fixed silicone cable runs in open or ventilated pipe systems and ducts. Air trapped around the cable above 90°C reduces the mechanical strength of silicone, so ventilation keeps the insulation performing as designed.

Silicone Cable Applications

Our silicone cables serve industries where heat, oil and temperature swings are part of daily operation:

  • Steel works, hot rolling mills and coking plants.
  • Foundries and metallurgical plants, for wiring close to furnaces and ladles.
  • Glass, cement and ceramic factories with kilns and dryers.
  • Power stations, where low-smoke and halogen-free cables are specified.
  • Aviation and shipbuilding, for wiring in engine and machinery spaces.

UPS systems, data centres and DG sets often call for UNISIL cables with modified silicone rubber insulation. Standard-temperature control wiring runs on our IS-licensed control cables.

Silicone Cable FAQs

What is a silicone cable?

A silicone cable is a cable insulated with silicone rubber for high-temperature use. It stays flexible in heat that would harden PVC insulation.

Our SiHF-C-Si silicone multi-core cable is rated for 180°C. Ratings for other types appear in their datasheets.

Silicon cable is a common spelling of silicone cable. Both terms describe cables insulated with silicone rubber.

Our SiF single cores are halogen-free to EN 50267-2-1 / IEC 60754-1, and our SiHF-C-Si multi-core is low-smoke and halogen-free. Halogen status for other types is listed in their datasheets.

We’re a silicone cable manufacturer and supplier in India, based in Mumbai since 1997. We make SiF, SiF/GL, SiHF, SiHF-C-Si, SiHF-GLP and single core V cables to order.
